C’est l’histoire de Hérisson. Hérisson est gourmand, et surtout très prudent. Ce jour-là, il s’en va à petits pas cueillir des morilles de printemps. Il choisit son sentier soigneusement, toujours le même. L’imprévu, très peu pour lui ! Sauf qu’aujourd’hui, tout va de travers… Écureuil chipe toutes les morilles de son panier, le vent et la pluie s’invitent à grand bruit, un arbre barre le sentier et voilà que la nuit commence à tomber ! Tout chamboulé, Hérisson doit improviser… Oh la la ! Après quelques roulés-boulés dans la nuit noire d’une forêt devenue inquiétante, Hérisson va heureusement trouver refuge chez une taupe, qui lui fera vite oublier cette mauvaise journée avec des petits légumes grillés. Comme quoi, à changer de chemin, on se fait des copains !

After a few tumbles in the pitch-black night of a forest that has become unsettling, Hedgehog luckily finds refuge with a mole, who quickly makes him forget this bad day with some roasted vegetables. It just goes to show, changing paths can lead to making friends!

What defines the prices of the books?
As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.
Do you have a shop?
My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine.
