Tonight, before going to bed, Timoté asks if he can watch an episode of his favorite cartoon, The Jungle Book. Of course,” says Dad, ”one episode at the most! Timoté nods. But just as he's about to turn off the TV and read the bedtime story, Timoté starts crying and clamoring for another episode. Eventually, he joins Mummy and Rose and is swept away by his favorite story before going quietly to bed.
As the days go by, Timoté, attracted by Daddy's telephone or Mummy's computer, realizes that having fun with his friends, going to the aquarium with his family or reading stories is so much more fun than staying in his corner alone in front of a screen!
A story that will speak to many parents faced with this problem with their children!

Ce soir, avant d'aller au lit, Timoté demande s'il peut regarder un épisode de son dessin animé préféré, le " Livre de la jungle ". Bien sûr, dit Papa, un épisode pas plus ! Timoté acquiesce. Mais au moment d'éteindre la télévision et de lire l'histoire du soir, Timoté se met à pleurer et à réclamer un autre épisode. Il finit par rejoindre Maman et Rose et se laisse emporter par son histoire préférée avant d'aller tranquillement se coucher.
Au fil des jours, Timoté, attiré par le téléphone de Papa ou l'ordinateur de Maman, comprend que finalement s'amuser avec ses copains, aller à l'aquarium en famille ou lire des histoires, c'est tellement plus rigolo que de rester seul dans son coin face à un écran !
Une histoire qui parlera à beaucoup de parents confrontés à cette problématique avec leurs enfants !

What defines the prices of the books?
As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.
Do you have a shop?
My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine.
