“A multitude fled through the streets, screaming, fleeing northward, fleeing from hell. There was no more respect, no more love, no more family. Everyone was running for their lives.” In the summer of 2052, a power outage paralyzed France and plunged society into chaos. Young François, a chemistry student in Paris, attempts to flee the capital and its apocalyptic atmosphere to reach the Provençal countryside with Blanche, his childhood sweetheart. Followed by other deserters, they begin an exodus across the country in the hope of a better life, free from technology and its excesses. Ravage, published in 1943, paved the way for science fiction in France.

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
