Melvyn is a real whirlwind, he can't sit still in class and distracts his classmates. His teacher complains to his parents that he is “unmanageable” and “hellish.” Teaching him to breathe at the speed of a sloth, giving him a stress ball to squeeze—nothing works. Unfortunately, sports aren't his thing, but when he cheers on Samia, his friend who excels at basketball, he jumps up and down and leaps into the air. Seeing girls in skirts wiggling around with their arms raised during a baseball game on TV, he had an idea for channeling his energy: creating a cheerleading squad at his school! He would have to overcome prejudice and not let himself be discouraged by the initial snickers.

En voyant à la télé des demoiselles en jupettes se tortiller, bras levés, en plein match de base-ball, une idée lui vient pour canaliser son énergie : créer dans son école un groupe de pom pom boys !
