2 in stock - Almost gone!

“My father doesn't want to admit it,” thinks Mo, “but we're already dead, and he's a little more dead than the others. Wind turbines are the latest weapon they've found to eliminate us, the farmers. When concrete has torn apart our land, when our landscapes have become moving factories, we will have disappeared forever.” To leave his land to his son Mo and avoid bankruptcy, Brun decides to cover his fields with gigantic wind turbines. Mo, on the other hand, loves the slow pace of life, the tranquility of the pastures, the unspoiled horizons. When construction begins, a deluge of scrap metal and concrete descends on his farm... In the harsh and majestic Jura mountains, the fate of a long line of farmers is sealed. With Mohican, Éric Fottorino draws on the full power of the novel to paint a picture of a world that refuses to die.

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
