Mia is the smallest tadpole in the pond where she lives with all her brothers and sisters. These brothers and sisters grow up, one by one, each at their own pace, and then mysteriously disappear, one after another. Is it the fault of the big, bad Gros-Gloups who lives in the depths of the pond? An adaptation for toddlers Benji Davies’ picture book adapted into a board book for toddlers. The sturdy, safe all-cardboard construction makes the book accessible to little hands. A perfect format for the immersive illustrations the book offers. A powerful theme Growing up often means learning to overcome your fears... Through Mia’s questions, we sense her fear, but also the great courage that will allow her to step into the world of the “big kids”! This picture book also explores one’s place among siblings, watching others grow up, and learning patience...

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
