to the conversations of his mother and neighbors, their prayers and whispers. Because Roland was not a little boy like any other. The doctors are adamant: he will never walk. He discovers the outside world through television. There he meets Sylvie Vartan, a benevolent fairy with a budding career, whose voice will accompany him on the road to recovery.
When the miracle his mother never stopped believing in finally happens, when seven-year-old Roland takes his first steps, a new and infinite world opens up to him: the sidewalks of Paris, the metro, and above all, the École des enfants du spectacle (School for Performing Arts Children)...

aux discussions de sa mère et de ses voisines, à leurs prières et chuchotements. Car Roland n'est pas un petit garçon comme les autres. Les médecins sont formels : il ne marchera jamais. Le monde extérieur, c'est à travers la télévision qu'il le découvre. Il y rencontre Sylvie Vartan, une fée bienveillante à la carrière naissante, dont la voix l'accompagnera sur le chemin de la guérison.
