2 in stock - Almost gone!

As he takes the Daltons back to prison for the umpteenth time, Lucky Luke crosses paths with the renowned French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, who has just embarked on a grand tour across the United States to raise funds to complete his gigantic 93-meter-tall statue, a tiny part of which he is carrying with him: a colossal hand holding a torch, a symbol of liberty. The artist explains that he wishes to erect his work on an island across from Manhattan to symbolize the unbreakable Franco-American friendship. However, the location he has chosen is also the one coveted by the warden of the Dalton brothers’ prison for the construction of a new facility from which escape will be impossible. While this vindictive man resorts to underhanded means to sabotage his rival, Lucky Luke agrees to escort Bartholdi on the final leg of his promotional tour, and is then entrusted with the mission (by the Vice President of the United States himself) to escort the statue from France to New York. And so the lone cowboy sets off to explore the French capital...

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
