2 in stock - Almost gone!

It has now been two months since Tobie left the Pelés—also known as the Grass People—in the company of his friend Moonhead and an old guide named Jalam. The young protagonist, barely more than a millimeter tall, is determined to save the old oak tree, whose life is threatened by the cruel Jo Mitch, a weevil breeder who, having established a veritable totalitarian regime, forces his subjects to dig a sinister crater in order to build high-rise cities. But the road is long to the treetop, where Tobie hopes to find not only his parents, who are among the forced laborers, but also the beautiful Elisha. She is, in fact, a prisoner of Leo Blue, who has gone from being Tobie’s best friend to his worst enemy since he swore to annihilate the grass people and thus avenge his father’s death. Struggling to make their way up the tree trunk, overgrown with moss and lichen, the trio faces numerous dangers, including the kidnapping of Jalam and Moonhead by Mitch’s henchmen. Fortunately, Tobie finds an ally in Nils and his lumberjacks, the only beings still free to move about within the oak.

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
