Les lendemains - Mélissa Da Costa
3 in stock - Almost gone!
Taking refuge in an isolated house in the Auvergne to live out her grief, Amande never thought it could hurt so much. Days go by and the sun shines outside, but she refuses to see it. But when she stumbles across the horticultural calendars of the former owner, guided by Madame Hugues' handwritten annotations, she decides to try and bring the old, abandoned garden back to life. As the seasons go by, she draws from this contact with the earth the strength to be reborn and open herself up to unique encounters. Until, at last, every tomorrow becomes a promise for the future.
A subtle, emotional novel that invites us to open wide our eyes, our senses and our hearts, and a wonderful hymn to nature that reconciles us with life.

FAQ
Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!
Are the books New?
Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.
What defines the prices of the books?
As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.
Do you have a shop?
My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
