At the beginning of the 20th century, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was fascinated by airplanes from an early age, at a time when they had only just been invented. As an adult, he became a pilot and was hired to deliver mail in Africa and Latin America. Despite the dangerous nature of the job, he pursued his dream of flying the skies. However, the aviator had another talent - writing - which he developed in parallel, publishing several successful novels. During the Second World War, he was posted to the air force, then came to the United States at the invitation of a publisher. It was this publisher who invited him to write the legendary Little Prince.

Adulte, il devient alors pilote et se fait embaucher pour distribuer le courrier en Afrique et en Amérique Latine. Malgré la dangerosité du métier, il poursuit son rêve de parcourir le ciel. L’aviateur a cependant un autre talent, l’écriture, qu’il développe en parallèle, publiant ainsi plusieurs romans à succès. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il est affecté dans l’armée de l’air puis rejoint les États-Unis, invité par un éditeur. C’est ce dernier qui lui proposera de se lancer dans l’écriture du mythique Petit Prince.

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.
What defines the prices of the books?
As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.
Do you have a shop?
My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine.
