Valjean décide alors de vouer sa vie à la défense des miséreux. Son destin va croiser le chemin de Fantine, une mère célibataire prête à tout pour le bonheur de sa fille. Celui des Thénardier, famille cruelle et assoiffée d’argent. Et celui de Javert, inspecteur de police dont l’obsession est de le renvoyer en prison ! Une fresque historique et sociale, à travers les yeux de Valjean, pour redécouvrir les injustices et la vie difficile des Français, dans un contexte révolutionnaire.

What defines the prices of the books?
As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.
