Tintin heads for Scotland, where a gorilla haunts an isolated mansion on a rocky island. While trying to help a plane in trouble, Tintin is shot at. It's the start of one of the famous reporter's most exciting adventures. In pursuit of his assailants, we find him on a rocky Scottish island, reputed to be the lair of a mysterious "beast", but in fact home to a gang of counterfeiters. After various adventures, Tintin puts an end to these illicit activities and reveals the true nature of the beast.
Tintin file en Ecosse où un gorille hante un manoir isolé sur une île rocheuse. En voulant aider un avion en difficulté, Tintin se fait tirer dessus. C'est le début d'une des plus palpitantes aventures du célèbre reporter. Poursuivant ses assaillants, nous le retrouvons sur une île rocheuse écossaise, réputée comme étant le repère d'une "bête" mystérieuse, mais abritant en fait une bande de faux-monnayeurs. Après diverses péripéties, Tintin mettra bien évidemment fin à ces activités illicites et révélera au grand jour la véritable nature de la bête.
