Caesar wants to wipe out the little Gallic village that's been taunting him. To achieve this, he wants to build a model Roman town around it. Thus, the isolated village must - according to him - either disappear or adapt and become Roman.
The town's architect first clashes with the Gauls, who prevent him from clearing the forest. But in the end, the Gauls let him do it so that the slaves in charge of the work could be freed. Once the first building had been erected and the Roman tenants had arrived, the situation in the little village quickly deteriorated: everyone was out to take advantage of the new clientele.
FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
