Hugo Cabret is an orphan. His uncle lets him stay in the attic of the train station, where he is in charge of setting the clocks. But the boy has one obsession: to finish repairing the automaton his father was working on before he died in the fire at the museum where he was employed. Hugo is convinced that this automaton has an important message to deliver to him... A book-loving girl, a grumpy old toy dealer, a stolen key, a mysterious drawing, and a precious sketchbook form the pieces of this fascinating puzzle.

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
