Gustave, a little Austrian boy, is taking advantage of the vacations to visit his cousin Mimi, who lives in Paris. As soon as he arrives, he comes across one of Mimi's neighbors, who has lost her cat. The two children become deeply involved in the search for the little animal, while discovering Paris, its monuments, its squares... but also its delicious French pastries! La marmite-O-langues mini novels give children the pleasure of reading a real story in two languages, switching from one to the other without constraint. They'll discover that a language is above all a living thing, and they'll quickly get the hang of looking for correspondences in expressions. La marmite-O-langues gives a platform to native authors and translators, who are often part of the teaching community and themselves parents of bilingual children. They write so that all young readers can acquire the same fluency.

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
