2 in stock - Almost gone!

We’ve all felt the urge at some point to leave, to slam the door, to walk away from it all. Inès—married, with two children, now halfway through her life—feels like she’s gotten nowhere. She carries the burden, manages everything, and forgets about herself. And others forget about her, too. Trapped in a life that no longer suits her, one day she leaves. In the solitude of the wilderness, she finds a place of her own: a house where time seems to have stood still, which she decides to restore. As she heals the house’s scars, Inès begins to heal her own. What if the best path to finding oneself lies through others? An ode to life, which can always begin anew. A novel by a writer who never stops reinventing herself to tell our stories better. An ode to sisterhood.

FAQ

Here are the answers to the most common questions I get asked, please review them and reach out to me if you need more info on something, I love to help you pick the right book, just for you!

Are the books New?

Yes, all the books that I sell during my bookfairs or online on my e-boutique are brand new.. You will be the very first to flip all the pages and enjoy the feeling of holding your own book in your hand.

What defines the prices of the books?

As a passionate small business owner, my goal is to offer a high level of quality imported from France at the best price. I understand that some people may be surprised by the difference of price between French and American books. In France, books are more expensive as authors and illustrators get larger copyright compensations. Also, imports cost quite a bit if you take into account the price of transport as well as the weight of what is being transported. I appreciate your constant support, when you choose sustainable small businesses over large corporations.

Do you have a shop?

My main way of meeting you is book fairs, festivals and private sales. Ordering online through my e-boutique is the best way to support French Authors and Small Minority Owned business like mine. I also have a physical location present in Orange County accessible via appointment only. Please contact me through text to get more information!
